When an organization tells me “we want to kick this thing up to 11, but our software is only letting us do half of that”, I get excited. I've been helping nonprofits with their technology needs for more than 12 years and I cannot imagine any other role for me. Problem solving to produce real impact for organizations and the individuals they serve is what keeps me excited about my job. So many clients come to us with incredible energy, experience and vision, and their staff is just looking for the right tool and solution set to help them realize their goals. I’m really lucky to do something intellectually engaging, helpful and fun with amazing people.
What’s something you like about the Salesforce technology?
I’ve seen organizations languish on outdated solutions that were a poor fit. Technology shouldn’t get in the way of your mission, it should serve your employees and organization to make the best fundraising and program decisions for YOU. Salesforce is the only solution I've seen that can provide nonprofits with the flexibility and scalability they need to succeed now and in 3, 5 and 10 years. The fact that it has an active community of app developers, users and partners makes me confident that our clients will continue to be supported and served by the platform.
Why do you like working for KELL?
All my clients are unique and different, even within the same types of clients. Each organizational process they have developed is unique and was designed around the community they serve. It feels good to be able to learn about an organization and listen to their challenges, and then design a solution set we can deliver and will meet each organization’s unique needs and help them grow and succeed.
